About Little Pine Stables
We are a private stable, and do not allow public use at this time. Only students, interns, employees and family may visit the stable.
Our mission is to instill a lifelong love of horseback riding into young women, ages 10 to 14, through ground-up equestrian training.
Along with a passion for adventure and riding, young women discover confidence in themselves and their abilities.
Our program focuses on the care and handling of horses and teaches preteens valuable life skills, such as time management, fitness, goal setting, and calm and confident leadership.
My training methods are a culmination of methodologies taught to me by national and international level trainers. I do not live by the philosophy that "only MY methods are correct". Rather, I try to instill an understanding of working with horses, so that students can go on in their training and be confident in the training methods they choose. I have approximately 34 years of training horses and humans alike! My passion and focus in the years before I retire is to pass on the wealth of knowledge and tools that were so graciously bestowed upon me by my trainer years ago which ultimately set me up for success. My focus is solely on helping young equestrians get the framework for a successful future full of fun, happiness, and success.
